Hillfort Moonglow 5 Dec 2010
On the evening of the 5th December 2010 the Heather & Hillforts and Habitats & Hillforts projects have a bit of a hillfort get together. The idea is to station groups of hardy and keen volunteers on the top of many of the hillforts littering the locality and across Cheshire.

well ok it’s been around for a few hundred thousand years however it was purchased only 10 years ago with funds raised by the friends of Moel Findeg to save it from quarrying and it became a designated Local Nature Reserve. Read the rest of this entry »
