URGENT NOTICE re tap water quality in Llanferres

News flash from Welsh Water: due to the discovery of bacteria in water at the Llyn Alwen Water Treatment Works during routine quality tests. Welsh Water advise all water from taps for drinking or cooking should be boiled on a precautionary basis whilst the matter is investigated. There is no evidence that any illness has yet arisen. Llyn Alwen supplies water to 70000 households and businesses in Denbighshire and Flintshire.
